No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Drops

Unbaked chocolate cookies is an old time favorite. I am trying to eliminate refined sugar from my diet, so I came up with this version that uses maple syrup. Make them gluten-free by using certified gluten-free rolled oats.

No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Drops

Serves: 20-25 cookies
  • ½ cup butter
  • ¾ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ½ cup cocoa
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups quick cooking rolled oats
  1. In a large saucepan, combine butter, maple syrup, peanut butter, cocoa and salt. Place over medium heat. Cook and stir until mixture comes to a full rolling boil. Boil for 90 seconds.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  3. Stir in rolled oats.
  4. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax or parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  5. Refrigerate until firm.
  6. Store in refrigerator.
